I think these little birds are so sweet and used Pure Poppy and Sweet Blush cardstock, impression plates, some gel pens, stitching, red felt, ribbon and heart-shaped rhinestones to bling up my take on the sketch. I have several sketch challenge sites bookmarked now, so I should never be at a total loss for inspiration.
I love the new blog. The colours are fabulous. And they match your card beautifully. The little felt bird is adorable and the gorgeous printed ribbon is a perfect match.
really cute! love that ribbon!
Love those little bitty birds! Very cute card; great job with the sketch!
Cute card! I like that you mixed them impression backgrounds.
Great card Cathy! That little bird is so sweet! I have never put Sweet Blush with Pure Poppy and it's so pretty. I need to give it a try too.
Yayyyyyyyyyyy, Cathy!!! On two counts.....the lovely blog colors and the card! Yours works wonderfully for the challenge. Love the colors, too! I just inked up my set this morning....but not sure when I'll post it. ;-)
Great take on the sketch, Cathy. Every card I've seen with Little Bitty Birds is fabulous. Do you think it's the images or do the stamps possess some magical power? Not that you need any help with your stamping.
First I must say I love the new look of your blog! Sketches really help me in creating. Your card is really cute! That little bird is so sweet and the ribbon is perfect for Valentine's too!
Love the colors...
Just ordered this set.
Thought I could resist..but I see so many cute cards.
This one just justifies my decision even further!
Hi Cathy! I've tried to edit my blog post but it hasn't saved it. The cricut cartridges that I used on my bee bag is Walk In My Garden for the bee and Plantin SchoolBook for the bag. Thanks for all of your sweet comments! :0)
Awwwww, how cute!! I love the little felt bird and the leaves colored in gel pens (yea!!). The impressed pieces are so fun too! Love the look that they give used together!
