2013 Top Ten

Happy New Year!  Every year I like to look back on all the blog posts I have made during the past year and choose my ten favorites.  It is such fun to see how my cards change and evolve through the year.  Here are my Top Ten favorites for 2013:

Loved the City Scene Stamp Set from PTI

Fun ice cream cones and balloons
Hexagons everywhere
For my son the firefighter
Love the raven
Thanksgiving turkey made from a pinwheel
Love the whale and the seagulls on the clouds
You can't have enough flip flops in CA
How many dies can I use on one project?
My favorite of 2013
Which one do you like the best?

Such a lovely collection of cards, great colours and layouts - impossible to pick a favourite! Happy New Year!

I enjoyed looking at these - great use of dies and a lot of variety! Love your fire truck scene with the diagonal road and the flames. My favorite is the city card (#10) for its colors, textures, and detail touches.

Cathy, your cards are amazing!! There are so many wonderful ideas incorporated into your favourites. I love the sharp contrast of the back and white birthday card with accents of bright yellow; the whale card is adorable and I especially like how you added all of the little accent details; the colour scheme of your City Scene birthday card is very pretty too! Have a wonderful New Year.

Fabulous post. I remember every single one of these cards from when they were posted. I really love them all, but if you are forcing me to pick a favorite, it would be your City Scene card. One of the best cards I've seen made with one of my favorite sets.

What an awesome post, Cathy! I love the gingerbread house for the sheer amount of amazing detail and for how beautiful it turned out - but they are all awesome. Happy New Year!

What a great post, Cathy!! I love your house on fire with the fire truck, and the whale in the funky waves ... and wait, the Christmas flip flops too! Happy New Year!

How to pick only 10?!! Impossible! My favorite? I'm sticking with the whale because I think the fanfare scallop die as water is just crazy good and so clever! Love them all really - so many stand outs, the cake, gingerbread house, Christmas flip flops, turkey pinwheel. All winners!
