I have been cutting doilies like crazy these days and this time, I stretched my birthday sentiment to fit around the curve in the doily center. The sentiment is from Round and Round. The patterned paper is stamped using Beautiful Blooms 2 and it is one of my favorites for making patterned paper in any color you want. I impressed it with the woodgrain impression plate once I was done stamping. That always adds a little extra something to the white cardstock. I punched a few circles and glittered them up for the flower centers, some rhinestones and a button and twine finish off this cheery birthday card. Thanks for taking a look at my sunny day creation.
Hey, Cathy.....Your card is gorgeous!!! Don't you just love that sketch??? I had to come see yours after you posted on my blog today. Your created background is so pretty! Nice choice of IP, too! ;-)
Lovely card, Cathy. Pairing the woodgrain and beautiful blooms looks amazing. Now I have to try out that sketch too :)
Beautiful card Cathy! The pattern paper that you created is amazing. I love the flowers over the woodgrain texture. I also really like the way you curved the Happy Birthday around the doily! Thanks for the links, I'm off to check those challenges out.
Very colorful! Love the woodgrain impression over the flowers. Great touch. And that doily die sure looks like fun. Can't wait til it's back in stock... then we'll have to see if anything from the upcoming release kicks it out of my cart. :)
So bright and colorful...
I love it!
It just cheers me looking at it!
And I'm going to have to start using some sketches...I don't think I've ever used one...
I'll get some sketch sites from you to try!
this is awesome! I really have to get this woodgrain folder. Your card is just great.
The curved sentiment is a smarty-pants move. So cute! I love these colors - hope to play along! HUGS!
So cute ...... love the doily and the colors are perfect!!!
Cathy, you're killing me with the doilies. I will just keep repeating to myself that I do NOT need them! I love this card, so bright and cheerful!
Cathy, you know how to use that Beautiful Blooms set like no one else I've seen. I'm so jealous. I'm not sure what my problem is, but I'm just never "feeling" it when I try to stamp with it. This is just lovely!
I love all those cute, colorful little flowers you stamped, and the curved sentiment is a great idea! Really pretty card!
How gorgeous is this card? ! Love it! I love the demi doily with the curved sentiment. So effective. The woodgrain IP works wonderfully with those happy flowers. Great ideas contained in this magical card. *yep, I am taking notes*
Thanks so much for your generous comments. They really mean so much to me. You are such a joy! Hugs.
Cathy this is so pretty! I love the stamped woodgrain panel! Wish it was 80 here in Kansas! Maybe I should jump in the car and head your way! Lol!
This is so cute!! I am totally in love with those Springy colors, especially how they stand out on the IP!! Cute, cute, cute!!
Oh my word, this is SO pretty!
