And here is my card:
Halloween Party |
I used Waltzingmouse Halloween Party again for this one. Such a great set with so many uses other than just a party invitation set. To make this card I first stamped some Waltzingmouse Text-It gothic style text using smokey shadow ink onto some spider web patterned paper I have had since last Halloween. The gray ink gave a very subtle texture to the patterned paper. I used orange ink with one of the sentiment stamps to create a background for the circle focal point. I then stamped the witch silhouette in black right on top. I love how it turned out. I layered that over a lavender circle and a black pinked circle. The polka dot paper and orange rick rack diecut is from last years stash. I added a few bats and also a double ended banner stamped with a sentiment and some images from Halloween Party. This is one of my favorite Waltzingmouse cards so far. I plan to give it to my little niece who is going to be a witch for this Halloween. Thanks for taking a look!

Cathy this is an awesome card! The patterns and colors work so well with the sketch and I love the sparkly witch!! Your niece will love it!
Seriously? You have just ROCKED this sketch, Cathy! I love every single card and project! Wanda's silhouette looks great sparkled up like that! Love how you stamped her over the orange sentiment, too cool! The dots make her look a little less menacing ;)!
Oh my gosh....this card is just way too cute! Love the paper, colors, glitter, everything is just so perfect together.
I think you've saved the best to last! I absolutely love this one - the subtle gothic text, sparkly Wanda and those bats - a fantastic Halloween card! I think this is a winner!!

Such a fun card, Cathy! I love all of the patterns and textures in your card. You always add the best textures to your cards which makes them look even more cool! I always wondered how that set could be used for something besides Halloween invites, love how you used it here!! So glad you're using WMS too now. :)

Cathy, I love this! The text stamped on the patterned paper creates such a great background, and I love how you've highlighted the witch. Great Halloween card!
