12 Kits of Occasions: October with Jessica

After today's post, I know it is officially Fall, not only the much nicer weather, but also time to start creating some fun, Autumn-themed cards.  I am extra lucky this month that Jessica of The Paper Parade is our 12 Kits of Occasions hostess and she sent us a fabulous package of goodies to play with.  Jessica's kit really put me in the Fall spirit!
Here's what I made with Jessica's kit:
Jessica included some beautiful patterned papers and cute script die cuts...this card is my favorite!

I almost cut this subway panel apart to use separately...but I could just not make myself take the scissors to such a perfectly stamped panel.  I used it as patterned paper instead.  Isn't that a cute turkey?
Once again the patterned paper shines...and I loved the wooden leaf that Jessica included with our kit.

For complete details on the stamps, papers and die cuts included in our October kit, just check out the 12 Kits of Occasions blog...all the details will be at your fingertips.  In the meantime, check out what the other members of our 12 Kits of Occasions group have created for Fall.

Your favorite is mine, too! Love how you cut the paper. I love that about four if us used the subway art in such a similar way. I couldn't cut mine apart either. Ha! Fantastic cards, Cathy!

First, gotta say your photos are all gorgeous Cathy. Your cards area all crisp and clean. I love the wavy colors on the first - how did you think of that? I'm always looking at the patterns, you looked at the solids!!! I feel like kicking myself for cutting those word stamps apart too! Brilliant to break up the acorn pattern paper with the wood embossed solid and those bitty flags. Wonderful cards! You always amaze me!

Your first card just pops right off the page Cathy, I love how you used the leaves, was stuck with them, now I know what to do. Now card two with the whole Thansksgiving dinner theme is brilliant. Love how you showcased the thanks sentiment and those sweet banners!

Fantastic group of cards, Cathy. It does look like you and I are not the only ones who used that subway panel as is. Love how you made those curvy color blocks, as well as your other cards, too. Thank goodness for a bit of fall, right?

Oh my goodness Cathy...these are so amazing and it really looks like you had so much fun with Jessica's kit. So clever to add that pot with the turkey, may just need to slip mine on my card too. You are so creative.

Fabulous cards, Cathy! And I totally agree with your favorite. The first card is stunning! Love those papers and your curved design looks fantastic. I didn't use my subway art, basically because I couldn't decide whether to cut them apart. Yours look so great and I love your clip on--so clever! Wonderful layout and use of patterned papers on your last card too. The leaf is a perfect accent!
