12 Kits of Christmas, October with Jessica

**Please scroll down for my Birthday Blog Month card for Jeanne Jachna**

Month #10 in our 12 Kits of Christmas club and this month was extra fun for me because I have never used any of the stamps or dies in the kit.  Jessica of Paper Parade was our hostess and anyone that knows her can tell you she is the "Queen" of Paper Smooches stamps.  No one does those stamps better than Jessica who has just recently been snapped up on their Design Team.  Congrats Jessica!  Jessica sent us a whole package full of cute stamps and sentiments and the prettiest patterned paper from MME (Merry Collection) and die cut labels and embellishments.  Here is a picture of the kit that Jessica sent us:

Aren't those pretty colors and did you see those cute clothespins and pretty ribbon?  Here is a look at my first card I made with Jessica's great kit:

Isn't that the cutest little penguin?  I added a branch die cut, some snowy hills and the little pom pom ball for the cap, but everything else came in our great kit.

My second card is my favorite:
I love the cute little dog and added the Santa cap and doggie bone that was included in our kit.  I plan on sending this card to my neighbor who has a dog who looks just like this one!

My last card is a little different:

I used some of the patterned paper in our kit to make a little snowman, correction, snowgirl card.  If you  will notice, I added the little bow in her hair and dressed her all in pink.  I cut up the star die cut and used it for buttons, the bow around her neck was also in our kit as well as the sentiment and little gems. I added a little pom pom trim.  I got a little carried away with pom poms on my cards since I only get to use them once a year and I have about 5 packages of them!

Ready to be blow away by some more great cards using Jessica's kit?  Here's a list of the other talented gals in our group who will have a lot more to show you.  Thanks Jessica for a great kit this month!

You did such fun things with all the goodies in Jessica's kit. I love them all, but my favorite has got to be that dog. I liked my dog card before I saw yours, but now I see he is too naked. I'm going to add the hat and bone to my dog before sending my card on its way.

Cathy, what cuteness! I'm smiling from ear to ear to see what you've done with my kit! So my favorite is the snowman, that is just too stinkin cute! I love how you took the things I sent and embellished the showgirl! I love all the glitter with the penguin, but that bow on the dog card is sure a showstopper!

What a clever way to hang the ornaments and I love your glittery penquin--so cute! Gosh, I didn't add anything with my dog and then see all these adorable dressed up versions. Your hat is adorable with the pom pom trim! Great idea to use the snowman die too. Your snowgirl is adorable!

Awesome cards this month, Cathy! The first one is adorable with all of the glittered accents and that sweet penguin. Love that little doggie with the bone in his mouth! Such a great use of the patterned papers on this one, too. Your snowman card is brilliant! I love how you used some of the stamped accents to dress him up!

Cathy, just so much fun! I have to say my favorite card is your first one, how clever to use that embossed paper as your background for the snow and that glitter, just so perfect. I love that sweet little penguin with that adorable hat too, just too darn cute.

Great idea. My web designer was having trouble with this. He’s in the process of creating a WP template for the business. Thanksestetik

Cathy, every project left me scratching my head, "Why can't I come up with something like that!?" I love the ornaments hanging from the tree, the snowman, and the layers of diecuts on the dogie card. They're all so cute!
