Today I'm sharing a card I made for two challenges...
CASology #81 with the cue word "And", and
WPlus9's birthday celebration with the theme of "Comfort Zone". Both are fun ideas and I had the perfect WPlus9 stamp set to use to compliment them both,
Milk and Cookies.
Nothing like some ice cold milk and Oreo cookies, my kind of comfort food. I made sure my cookies were the double stuffed variety by adding some Liquid Applique to the centers and heating them with my heat tool to make some nice puffy icing. I stamped the little banner in the corner and attached it with a staple. The ampersand is a die from Papertrey Ink. This was a fun card to make, definitely in my comfort zone. Hmm...I'm feeling like I need some cookies...Oreo's anyone?

Fabulous card, Cathy. Milk and cookies are the perfect combination, and now I want some oreos, too. Love how you stacked them and made that authentic puffy filling. Your red Ampersand is so cool, and I really like your little stapled banner.

Oh how cool! We were thinking the same thing! How funny - I like that yours have gooey cream filling! and that sweet stapled sentiment. I always want to use staples, but can never bring myself to doing it. Once it's in there you can't take it back!
I have only one complaint about your card - I think you got the milk to cookie ratio wrong - MORE COOKIES! lol! Very cute and I love the texture on your icing! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!

I LOVE this Cathy! The little detail you added to the cookies is darling and the layout is fabulouso!!! I must say that this set has been in my cart more times than I want to say but it's going to come live with me soon because you have pushed me over the edge!
