Cute sketch, don't you think? This week's
Waltzingmouse Sketch #119 by Becca Feeken was quite a challenge for me as I am away from home and only have 3 Waltzingmouse stamp sets with me. With all the images in each set, you would think I could come up with a card using this sketch...but it was tough! I had a hard time thinking what to use for those circle images. I admit I took a lot of liberties with this one, and instead of a card, I made a tag.
I used
Afternoon Tea Sentiments and the beautifully delicate tea cup. The steam swirls were my interpretation of the circles in the inspiration photo. Do you see it? I plan on giving some homemade tea time treats as Christmas gifts and the sentiment is absolutely perfect for a tag to tie around my package. The die cut tag is a Spellbinder Decorative Labels 8 and the patterned papers are by MME, Blush collection. I am so excited that Michaels now sells MME! Oh my Cathy this is fabulous, I love dies you used. I am sure the patterned paper you used is just like a tea cup my grandmother had!
LOVE, this tag! Such a perfect tea time tag. You did a great job using what you had. The MME paper is just like a tea cup. I see your 3 swirls with the bling as your 3 circles on the sketch, great job! How ever did you get away this time of year.

What a pretty and feminine tag. You did great, especially with limited supplies. Sometimes, that is the best way to force creativity.

WOWIE! This is so elegant and charming, Cathy! I just love the use of the lacy die cuts and the flourishes for the steam. So pretty in pink and just the perfect embellishments from the bow to the gems to the rose! GORGEOUS!
