So Sweet of You

Today I have a card using another birthday gift, this time the Grand Madison Window die and flower box by Poppystamps.  I got this last week from Renee of It's a Patchwork Life, and I love it!  Renee started the window box craze back in January when she sent that as the main ingredient of our 12 Kits of Christmas club kit.   Since then, I am seeing these windows...everywhere!  So glad I have one now too.  To thank Renee, I made a little card using the die and some pretty flowers in the flower box.
Aren't those pretty flowers so springy?  I was excited to discover that so many images from Papertrey Ink's Vintage Picnic and Waltzingmouse Stamps Bountiful Basket Additions can be used to fill up the flower box.  I just stamped them three times, colored and cut them out, making sure to have a few overhang the flower box.  I used patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Market Street and a little stitching.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Signature Greetings and I added a touch of lace as a valance for the window.  I have so many ideas going through my head that I can use for this die, and I am sure I am going to use this die many, many times in the future.

I can almost feel the warm air around those daisies! What a pretty card! Love our lace valence in the window too. I can hardly wait for my window die and accessories to arrive. I'm saving your card for my file for inspiration. TFS

Wow--this is the cutest way I have seen that window and box used ever. I ordered the window box, but the windows were out of stock. Now, I want it more than before! Love the colors you used and those flowers look perfect. What a sweet friend you have in Renee, to send you such a wonderful gift.
