For My Sweetheart

Happy Saturday morning!  Still sitting here in my pj's trying to decide if I want to do the responsible thing by getting dressed and doing a little grocery shopping...or, the more fun thing by staying right where I am now and making something crafty!  Hmmm...which one do you think I will choose?  While I go back and forth with my very difficult decision, I am sharing a tag I made for the anniversary gift I gave Warren last week.  Nothing like a cute little romantic tag attached to a rake.  Yes, I said a rake.  Aren't rakes the traditional 34th anniversary gift?  Well, they are at our house and it was a huge success too!  I guess the thrill is gone a bit, but he is outside using that gift this very minute!  LOL.
Wish I had snapped a picture of it attached to the rake, but I guess you will just have to use your imagination for that one.  Everything is from Lil Inker Designs...Folding Tag Die original, Rainbows and Clouds Die Set, Of the Heart Die set and Of the Heart Stamp Set.  So...just for fun, I'd love to hear the funniest anniversary gift you have ever given or received?  Hope I hear something funnier than a rake!

Pretty tag Cathy, I love how you created the colours of your rainbow! Did you grocery shop, I am still debating--4:45 here. LOL

This is so pretty--perfect for a rake? Not sure about that, but very funny. Peter and I don't really do anniversary presents, although he did surprise me with diamond earrings one year, and he had his mother buy them so I would not see the charge and spoil the surprise. However, after he gave me the gift, I did have to write a check to reimburse his mother.

This is so stinkin' sweet Cathy! I love that it is bright and cheerful using traditional Valentine's Day colors even if it is a anniversary tag. And you gift was amazing, that would go over very well in my house too. Last year for Christmas Dwight got something (don't know the name of it) to trim the trees with. Happy Anniversary again sweetie!

Oh darn I gave the wrong gift for our 34th a few years ago. Love it and I have a great visual of this pink tag on a rake. Love it Cathy ...thanks for the early morning laugh.

You crack me up! A pretty tag on a rake? ! Tell him that's what every woman wants to see - a man at work! Ties in nicely with the honey do list I suppose! I hope he smiled! Your tag is beautiful!

Ha! I may have to steal your idea for his Valentine's gift. Luis would love to get a new rake - his is pretty bent out of shape! :) Your tag is adorable - I just added it and the stitched hearts to my Lil Inker wish list! Don't think I've ever used their rainbow die with patterned papers but I'm definitely going to after seeing this one!
