Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop

Today is Papertrey Ink's monthly blog hop and this month there was a really striking picture as the photo inspiration.

I loved the clean lines, black and white patterns and the pretty green accents.  Here is my card:
Friendship Jar Summer Fillers Papertrey Ink
I cut a Simply Chartreuse Parisian lace doily and layered it over some black/white patterned paper (not sure what brand).  The white embossed hydrangea bouquet and bow are from Friendship Jar Summer Fillers, the jar is from the original Friendship jar.  I added the stems from the original daisy image in Friendship Jar and shaded the jar a bit with a copic marker.   The little sentiment on the tag is from Tag-Its #12 and the ribbon is some PTI True Black Saddle stitch ribbon.

Now grab a cup of coffee or tea and take some time for yourself and enjoy all the great cards linked to the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.  You will have lots to look at today, so enjoy the Blop Hop.

Wow, Cathy, I love this card! I've yet to make something with that bow stamp and die - it's time to get them out and play!

Hi Cathy! I love that back and white background and how you repeated it on your bow. It makes the green really pop off the page. Embossing the hydrangeas in white just ties it all together - well done!

Beautiful, Cathy! You chose just the right black & white patterns but I must say, the gingham is my fave! And I just love the bow! The embossing is a great touch--really highlights your pretty bouquet of hydrangeas.

Cathy, this has to be one of the most beautiful cards ever! That bouquet is so stunning and perfect with the black gingham bow. So beautiful and elegant, makes me want to buy those stamps.

This is so gorgeous. I love those flowers, and how you incorporated the different black and white patterns. You are so clever to have borrowed those stems from the daisy, too.
