Today I have my first card made with my new PTI Trendy Tree Top set.
This card is for my uncle, so I used the most masculine colors I could think of, kraft, smokey shadow, soft stone and rustic cream. Although I have the stamp set, this card was made using only the matching dies. I didn't have to stamp anything except the sentiment. The rolling hills are embossed with a SU square lattice embossing folder and the sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #12. It is a super easy card to make and a lot of fun to arrange those cute tree tops.
Nicely done. I love that this masculine card is so textural too. The embossed hills and the choice cuts of DP are so handsome. A great guy card with a difference.
Cathy, I love the little scene you created. That textured background is awesome - and the trees with the cut outs so pretty! Oh I mean HANDSOME! Your uncle will love it!
The more I see this set...
the more I love it...
maybe it should come to my house!
By the time it's back in stock I'm going to be dying for it I'm sure! :)
This is a fabulous "man" card...
and honestly those trees work really well for men too!
And you know we can't say that about every set!
I know he'll love it! :)
Such a great card! I love the rolling hills and the masculine colors!
Love it Cathy! I am so glad I got this set last min. I love the colors , and the SU folder you used. I am sure your uncle will be very impressed that you made this.
I love your masculine card Cathy and I can't wait to get that stamp set. This is amazing use of just the dies!
What an amazing card. I love how you have turned those trees into a masculine card--great colors. How smart to texture those rolling hills--I'm glad I already have that embossing folder.
So cool. Love your pattern and texture choices!!
I love the Trendy Trees cut with the patterned paper!! And the embossing on the white hills was the perfect touch...this card rocks!
I think TT will be a VERY versatile set and you just showed how when you used patterns for the tree tops. I love love the pattern choices here. Very masculine indeed!
